The 160,000 members of the union have decided to strike after the discussions between Hollywood's main actor group, " SAG-AFTRA ", and the major film studios came to an end.
– At a press conference on Thursday night, the union's CEO, Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, announced that the strike will begin at midnight.
